victoriametrics/vmui repository overview

What is vmui?

VictoriaMetrics UI (vmui) is a user-friendly and powerful web-based user interface for VictoriaMetrics. It allows you to write and execute queries, explore metrics, and build visualizations to better understand your time series data.

How to Use This Image

vmui is a standalone service that connects to a VictoriaMetrics data source (either a single-node instance or a cluster's vmselect component).

To run vmui connected to VictoriaMetrics:

Bash

docker run -d --name vmui -p 9090:9090\
  victoriametrics/vmui:latest\
  -datasource.url=http://<victoriametrics-addr>:8428

Then, access the UI by navigating to http://localhost:9090 in your web browser.

Configuration

  • -datasource.url: The URL of the VictoriaMetrics data source. This is the only required flag for basic operation.

  • -httpListenAddr: The TCP address for the vmui web server to listen on. Default: :8428. Note: The Docker image exposes port 9090 by default.
